Believe

I can’t believe
That in spite of what I’ve done
And how I chose to live
He’d send His perfect Son

I can’t believe
That the One who bore my shame
Could watch me drive the nails
And want to end my pain

But when my hope was lost
And my pride was torn away
I heard a whisper shake the heavens
Calling me by name!

Know that I’m unworthy,
By Your grace You want to save me
And give me hope again
